James R. "Jay" Young - Chief Executive Officer Mr. Young received his B.B.A. in Marketing from Angelo State University in 1985. After a successful career as a stock broker and in marketing, he formed King Operating Corporation in 1996 for the exploration and development of oil and gas properties. Mr. Young has had a life-long involvement in the oil and gas industry and is the fourth generation of his family to devote their careers to the industry. Mr. Young’s business insight and determination have yielded successful negotiations for complex oil and gas leases and producing properties.

Rodney W. Wren - President Mr. Wren received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas State University and has worked in the oil & gas industry for more than 29 years. He has marketed geophysical exploration tools (both domestically and internationally) which include seismic acquisition, gravity and magnetotellurics. Mr. Wren has been involved in the acquisition of storage facilities, pipeline and processing facilities, developing grassroots gathering systems and the acquisition and divestment of producing properties. He has worked on acquisitions ranging from $3 million to $5 billion. Mr. Wren has broad management experience in the energy sector and is a member of the Texas Alliance of Energy Producers, Natural Gas & Electric Power Society of North Texas, Natural Gas Society of East Texas, ADAM and is Board Of Director of the National Energy Services of America Organization.
Rex E. Gifford - Chief Financial Officer Mr. Gifford earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas in May 1976. He currently assists King Operating in the formation, management and economic reporting functions for the properties sponsored by the Company. Prior to joining King Operating in September of 2007, Mr. Gifford functioned as the CFO of New Horizon Exploration, Inc. for twelve years. Before beginning his tenure with New Horizon, Mr. Gifford specialized in resolving complex accounting issues for individuals and companies. He also provided income tax services for both industry and local public accounting firms.
Dow Moore - Director of Acquisitions Mr. Moore attributes much of his industry success to his experience as the head of his own independent oil and gas company and as a consultant for various operators in Dallas and Houston. He has been involved in all aspects of the oil and gas industry including prospect generation, geological research, well site drilling supervision, sample analysis, and investor relations. Mr. Moore received a BS degree in Geology from Baylor University.
James Morabito - Director of Geology/Technical Evaluations Jim Morabito has worked for more than 25 years in the E&P Industry. He has dedicated the last 14 years to the technical and economic evaluation and development of unconventional gas opportunities including Black Shale, CBM, CMM (coal mine methane), and Fractured Carbonates. A major portion of that time has been as an Asset Manager and New Ventures Geological Consultant.
